Hi, I'm Barbara.

Registered Nurse and Health Coach 

For nearly three decades, I've had the privilege of caring for individuals and families as a registered nurse. Throughout my career, I have witnessed firsthand the impact chronic illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and metabolic disease have on people's lives—not only physically, but emotionally, financially, relationally and spiritually as well. Thrive Coaching Alliance was founded on the premise that people deserve more than brief medical appointments and generic health advise. They deserve to be heard, seen, respected and encouraged to achieve their best health through collaboratively created plans of action. 

Many individuals know what they should do to improve their health but struggle to consistently implement those changes in their daily lives. My role is to bridge that gap by combining nursing expertise, evidence-based health coaching, behavioral change strategies, and compassionate accountability to help you create sustainable results.

It is exciting to be work with individuals, who are ready to take an active role in their health to prevent, manage, master, or potentially reverse the progression of chronic disease through lifestyle change. My coaching approach focuses on helping you improve blood pressure, blood sugar control, weight management, energy levels, stress resilience, and overall well-being through personalized, science-backed strategies that turn knowledge into action. Together, we co-create measurable progress, sustainable habits, and lasting transformation.
